Summary: It was a good hotel. Lots of space and clean. A few minor design flaws: 1. The hooks in the shower are rounded, so your towel doesn’t stay on 2. The shower temp fluctuates as you’re showering from a little cold to a little too hot which makes your showers a little uncomfortable 3. The shower drains don’t drain fast enough, they have this weird bars that partially closes the drain. The shower started to fill up all the way to the point where it was about to overflow out of the shower and it had only been 3-4 mins. I had to remove the bar to fully expose the drain then it drained at the proper rate.

Summary: This is a small hotel at great location for visiting Barcelona. It is clean and staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious with a good size balcony. I recommend it.

Summary: We stayed here for my hen do and had a great time overall. We booked four rooms, which ended up being spread across different floors—not ideal for a group, but manageable. The beds were incredibly comfortable; I had the best night's sleep in ages and even woke up without my usual back ache! Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of choice and everything was regularly topped up. The Wi-Fi was a bit of a letdown though; it only worked reliably in reception and the breakfast area, not in the rooms. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the hotel felt secure thanks to the keycard-only entrance system. Location-wise, it’s about a 20-minute walk to La Rambla, but the metro is just around the corner and super easy to use. Taxis were also readily available right outside. One disappointment: I booked expecting access to a pool, as it was advertised on several websites. Unfortunately, the pool is exclusive to the penthouse, which wasn’t made clear—so that was a bit misleading.

Summary: The only thing that would have made it a perfect stay would be a pool to relax by. But the location was great, it was clean and well designed. The breakfast was very good. I would recommend this location

Summary: The rooms were very cute and clean. I love the updated look. The bathtub (needs a plug) was huge! A great place to relax after a long day of visiting Barcelona. The Public Transportation was about a block away. I am not used to using subways in the city I live and it was really easy to navigate. We even had a package delivered to us before we arrived and they held the package until we arrived. Wonderful customer service! The hotel felt very safe and secure. You need a key to enter the building, so the busyness of the street is not an issue at all. There is even a grocery store across the street for anything you may need. Plenty of food options around the building. The only complaint I had about this place was the efficiency of the elevators. They worked fine, but felt like they may need some servicing.

Summary: Very tiny room but clean and modern. Overall it served its purpose as we needed a stay on short notice and that one that wouldn’t break the bank. The hotel’s location was also very good.

Summary: I stayed at the hotel for 5 days to attend a conference. Since it was during the conference period, I had to pay nearly three times the usual rate, but the service was terrible. First of all, the atmosphere of the hotel was quite dark and depressing, and my room only had a window facing the interior of the building, not the outside, which was very disappointing. On the second day, no bottled water was provided. When I inquired, I was told that according to hotel policy, water is only provided on the first day. I find this policy hard to understand, especially considering that I booked 5 nights and paid a high rate without any discount. (After I complained on the second day, they finally provided water, but the next day, it wasn’t provided again.) Normally, I was told that there is complimentary water available for all guests at the reception area, but even that was not available for due to construction work. On the last day, even though I hung the "Please clean the room" sign on the door, housekeeping didn’t clean the room at all. I would never want to stay at this hotel again.

Summary: This was our second stay at Allegro. Friendly staff, clean rooms more than adequate for our stays. The only thing I would say is this time we were at the front and on the first floor, the people noise from the bar next door was fairly loud, and we were a lot more aware of the noise/shaking from I assume the metro. We didn't notice/hear that from the inside 5th floor last time.
